I love this time of year!

We had an awesome Thanksgiving! My family came over here....the only thing missing was Deborah, Herman and Micah, this year they went to Herman's family's house. We had all the normal Turkey Day foods. I got a lump in my throat while feeding Makily mashed potatoes. It was so wonderful to be feeding her like a "normal" child. Granted we still have a long way to go but it was nice. Everyone was extremely sleepy after eating and we had fun making fun of each other falling asleep on the couch. At about 8 we went over to Allen's mom's and had dinner again....Tammy (my SIL) didnt get off work til late so we waited to do thanksgiving with her. I was so stuffed after eating all day I thought I would puke. I had a "food hangover" most of the day yesterday. Needless to say my diet has suffered but I was sorta expecting that of this weekend. I havent even started my Christmas shopping but Lord knows I need to. Next week is busy but I hope to at least start.
