It is with GREAT PRIDE that I introduce to you our our son
JAKOB ALLEN
We officially adopted him Wednesday March 17, 2010.
I cried through the entire adoption.
I will post the entire story this week about how it all happened and give more details, but I just wanted to let ALL my readers know, he is ours forever.
The fight is over and we are so relieved.
He is about two months old here, I don't know for sure because this was taken before he came to us.

HOLY COW! I've been following your story for a long time now (mostly Makily's). I'm so excited to read about your adoption of Jakob!!! CONGRATULATIONS!! You must be so terribly relieved now. Can't wait to read about the details. How exciting for you all!

That's GREAT NEWS!!! I too have been reading you blog for a long, long time. (Yahoo support group for feeding) Jakob is so lucky to have such a wonderful and loving Forever Family! I am so glad for you! I have been a long time follower and I knew you must be getting close.
We also got our daughter when she was four and a half months old and adopted her at 19 months old. (also from Foster care)
She is four now...I didn't start my blog until we were finalized as I was that paranoid.
